The Raconteurs mainman Jack White returned to the Reading Festival for the fourth time this decennium with his 'other' ring tonight (August 23).
White played at the outcome with The White Stripes in 2002, cancelled a Stripes appearance due to injury in 2003, returned with Meg White to headline in 2004, and so headlined the NME/Radio 1 Stage with The Raconteurs in 2006.

The congeal showcased songs from both of the four-piece's albums, 2006's 'Broken Boy Soldiers' and this year's 'Consolers Of The Lonely', as it did during the band's acclaimed performances earlier this summertime at Glastonbury and T In The Park.
Highlights included an extended version of 2006 debut single 'Steady, As She Goes', with White, as he has done all summer, encouraging the crowd to sing the closing "Are you unwavering now?" refrain.
